The ifPonto Cell application allows for clocking in and monitoring work hours directly from a mobile device.

• Clock in with photo and facial biometrics
• Mobility control through geolocation and geofencing
• Employee's direct access to the current time card
• Employee sentiment recording upon clocking in
• Summary of pending and synchronized entries
• Manager's or administrator's announcements
• Automatic email confirmation of clocked entries
• Time card signing
• Submission of justifications
• Payslip (available via separate contract)
• Income statement (available via separate contract)
• General approvals (upcoming updates)

Using the Application:

To use the application, prior authorization from the ifPonto system manager or administrator through your company's Human Resources department is essential. Without this authorization, users will be unable to register on the app.

App Functionality:

The app's functionalities can be tailored to meet specific needs. Managers or designated individuals at each company using ifPonto have the flexibility to configure and provide visibility of functionalities to different employee groups. If essential features are missing, contact the system manager or HR department to enable them.

Geolocation:

Geolocation errors can stem from device connectivity issues or settings. To record clock-ins properly, mobile data and GPS permission must be enabled.

Time Zone:

Clock-in time zone issues may relate to device settings or network connection. The ifPonto Cell considers the official time from available networks; hence, if the device is not set to automatic mode, clock-ins won't register.

App Errors:

Many errors result from outdated app or Android OS versions on the device. Keep your ifPonto Cell and Android OS up to date for error corrections and data security.

Password Recovery:

The ifPonto Cell handles sensitive data within the ifPonto system network. For security reasons, password recovery follows a rigorous protocol:

1. Email-requested password reset: An email link allows users to reset passwords after more than five failed attempts.
2. HR-requested password reset: Collaborators must contact HR to reset their password.

If there's no registered email in the system, employees should request its inclusion via the company's HR department.
